Decimal places shown in a repeat region

WF 4.0

What I want to do:

Show a family table driven dimension in a tabulated table on a drawing. Column 1 is MM, column 2 is Inch.

In Part:

Units are MM.

d1 is in the family table

properties for d1 is set to 3 decimal places

parameter: DIA_INCH

relation: dia_inch = d1/ 25.4

In Dwg:

table w/ two columns

individual repeate regions for each columns

filter set for column 1: &fam.inst.param.name == d1

filter set for column 2: &fam.inst.param.name == DIA_INCH

Problem:

I need to have the MM column at 3 deci places (controled by the properties for the d1 dimension), but how do i get the Inch column to display at 4 deci.

I know about the &param_name[.x], this only works in a note.

I have downloaded your “Creo Elements / Direct Modelling express” and now I am busy with the tutorial from the start up screen.

I realize that this is your “lite” version but would like to ask about the “Structure Position”command, the tutorial first align the axis and then mate the face of the wheel to the trolley axis, but I see the axis on the trolley moved out of position. I used the “Structure Position” command to align the trolley with its axis, but then the axil move out of position from the wheel that I just positioned. So my question is, the “Structure Position” command position parts, but it does not constrain or fix the part in that position? Is there another command to constrain the part in position?

Choppy drawing

I have installed Direct Modelling Express 4.0 on a Dell Vostro laptop and I am having some chopping/lagging problems, but only while drawing. If I am just rotating/zooming a model everything is fast and smooth, but the second I start to draw anything the cursor jumps and skips around quite a bit. The laptop uses Intel HD 3000 graphics.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Unable to save bundle

Hello,

For a while back I've created an assembly and annotation drawing in creo express 4 and saved it as a bundle.

Because I've had some problems with my computer I decided to re-instal Windows 7 (64).

Now I've installed Creo Express 6 and I've modified the assembly and want to update the annotation drawing.

When I'm trying to save it as a bundle I'm getting an error:

Then I klick 'OK' and get this massage:

I've googled this and the only topic on this issue is this one:

Unfortunally there is not realy an awnser to the problem. Does anyone have the solution?

I've tried to make a new drawing from a new model

I've tried changing the destination folder

I've cleared the 'temp' directory but it didn't make any diffrence.

User Input Line Issue

I like to use abbreviations. Usually, after entering a command, the text in the user input line goes away, but since I switched to modeling express 6.0, sometimes, it goes away, sometimes it stays in the uil. If I type a couple of abbreviations in a row, the new abbreviation text is appended to the text already in the input line. Is there some setting I can use to turn this off? Autocomplete is already turned off, so that is not the issue. Has anyone else seen this?

Dear,

I created an account and registered on the web page
http://www.ptc.com/offers/tryout/pe3.htm because I would like to try
free software – Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Personal Edition 3.0.

Next I downloaded and install this free software but software didnt running. 
When I starting software it is writing error message:
"NO VALID LICENSE for CoCreate Modeling Personal Edition 3.0"

Where is the problem?

My computer configuration:

Graphics: NVidia GeForce FX5200 128MB
CPU: Intel Celeron 2,6 GHz
RAM: 512MB
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3

My computer recently changed locations on the company internet. I have been using Direct Modeling Express for several years successfully but now I get a proxy request and warning when I start. It looks like I'll be thrown out after 72 hours?

I clearly have internet access. The company IT support is not sure what type of Proxy information Direct Modeling Express requires. Proxies are not generally used, they say.

Connection failed.

For Modeling Express to automatically activate, it requires access to the internet. Please check if a proxy has to be specified, and enter your company's proxy server details so that the activation can proceed

Proxy name.........

Proxy port ...........

Thanks for any help to get around this issue.

How can I get rid of this yellow cursor (probe)?

Before I had a white cursor very convinient for draging (creating a box to capture stuff)

I cannot create a box to select elements! I have to click one by one every components!?!?!?!?!?!?

Even with F2 it dosent work!

Can I get rid of this thing?

Hallo!! Ich möchte sehr gerne ein Top-Down Parameter mit Layoutskizze mit Notizbuch machen. Ich habe viel damit gespielt aber ich kann es nicht schaffen.

Ich weiß ich soll ein Notizbuch erstellen und deklarieren. Aber in Notizbuch, als ich drucke "deklarieren", kommt ein Fenster die "Layout" zeigt und ich klicke dort an, aber nichts passiert. Ich würde gerne wießen, die nächsten Schritte, um meine vaiable zu deklarieren und die als ein paramter nutzen.

Wird dann dieses Variable in die Parameter von meinem Model erscheinen?

Vielen dank in Voraus.

Sorry, I use Creo in German, although my german is not very good. Well, maybe someone could help me with this. I want to do a Top-Down layoutsketch. I know I must create a Notebook, and then declare my variable. And here is my problem, since when I click "declare", appears a windoy that displays "Layout" and when I click this, happens nothing. And the next steps are missing me. I want this variable to appear in "parameters" from my model assembly, and also in the parameters from every of the parts from this assembly I have.

Mouse wheel zoom with Creo Elements PE 3.0

Hello!

I'm a ME student and I just downloaded the Creo Elements PE so I could do some part/assembly modeling at home. The program itself seems great (although different from what I'm used to) but I'm having trouble zooming with the mouse wheel. When I try to zoom with the wheel, one 'click' zooms by a factor of ~4, meaning if the size of the part quadruples on the screen when I barely touch the mouse wheel. It is rather irritating. I'm currently using:

OS: Windows 7 professional

MOUSE: Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000

GRAPHICS CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

Any help on the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

I accidentally closed the windows for a skeleton assembly and a part. They are still in session but they are unsaved. Can I reopen the windows and save the objects?

Edit: I'm using Creo Parametric Academic edition.
